Hey Brick Cave family! My name is Will, and I just started here as an intern for the summer to help out with... well, whatever Bob and the team need help with. I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself to the welcoming community Brick Cave has cultivated here. I currently work as a bookseller in the area, and I've found a lot of fulfillment in supporting the super talented local artists we have around here. As a kid raised on fantasy books, and a currently practicing fantasy/sci-fi nerd, Brick Cave seems like a good fit.
I'd love to learn more about the community here, so feel free to drop some of your favorite Brick Cave stories or any cool things people are reading or watching. The best fantasy/sci-fi books I've read recently are probably Babel by R.F Kuang, Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers, and Murderbot by Martha Wells. I'm currently reading This Is How We Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone (which is beautiful so far) and watching Fall of the House of Usher (real spooky). Thanks for welcoming me y'all, and hopefully I'll be seeing some of you around at our events.
