About the event:
Worlds Collide as Agave Library kicks off Con-Fusion 2024 with a day of fantasy and sci-fi adventure for the whole family! Create Faerie Portals, build your own D&D Character, and discover your path in the stars with your own Astrology chart. Keep a look out and hunt for Cryptids throughout the library! Every adventurer needs supplies; check out the vendors and artisans for all the best in local treasures!
Rest a spell and discover the stories and wonder created by our local authors. Buy their books to continue the adventure at home after you have joined in one of their insightful panels. In “Crews, Parties, and Teams” authors share how they assemble their cast of characters. Talk up the history, myths and science of world building in “Mars: Person, Planet, Problem.” Learn how aliens, monsters, and fantasy creatures are designed in our “It’s Alive!” panel. And “Go Rogue” in a panel that takes sci-fi and fantasy into every genre.
We close out our journey with a Cosplay Parade for all! It’s a fantastical launch as our journey continues with Con-Fusion 2024!
