Description

My whole life I’ve been stranded on a spaceship with my parents and the crew of the spaceship Grimm Explorer.

Who am I?

I am Rose Marie Hernandez Williamson and I was born in outer space. I used to think the hardest part about growing up out here would be naming the planets.

Now, I think it will be getting back to Earth alive.

Reviews/Awards

"This is an impressive character study of a young lady who finds herself, through no fault of her own, in a rather unique situation, one that I'm very happy I read about in this book." Review- The Nameless Zine

"This is the first time I have read a book by this author. I LOVED it!! It is a quick read that grabs your heart. I fell in love with the characters, the author didn't tell me how to feel but I cried in so many spaces of this book, not just the sad ones but the happy too. It is very rare for me to get so emotional when reading. I highly recommend it." -Patience Fones (Amazon)

Excerpt

This space trip was not designed to be an experiment in human growth in a quarter g environment, but that’s one of the things it has turned into. Now, of course, the World Space Center (or WSC), which is in charge of this mission, is studying the effectiveness of intergenerational family units as a support to the psychological health of the crew as well as the repercussions of long-term low-g and high-radiation on systemic development. All because of me.

So I’m a guinea pig, too. And, as of today, August 4,

passenger and guinea pig. Happy birthday to me.
